We like to joke that our story began just like an opening scene of a classic romantic comedy.

Amy had recently started working as an Assistant Wedding Planner and just so happen to be on the planning team for Garret's brother's wedding where he happen to be the Best Man. Amy had spotted Garret early on but it wasn't until after the wedding ended and guests began going home that Garret came over and introduced himself.

After a friendly conversation and a good-bye, Amy excitedly told her friends on the planning team that Garret came to say hello. Chances are, the very friend she was on the phone with ran into Garret in the hotel lobby. Through all of these serendipitous moments, Garret ended up with Amy's phone number before the end of the night. He asked her on a date over dinner the following week and the rest is history.
